I began my career 27 years ago working for a large commercial roofing company, specializing in all aspects of sheet metal work, including metal roofing, various commercial gutters and downspouts, coping, Philly flashing, skirt metal, and more. For the first three years, I received consistent raises, but as the company struggled, my career progression stalled. After working with them for 5-6 years, I founded Cooper Sheet Metal and Gutter, drawing on my extensive commercial experience and knowledge.

I was confident that with my background as a lead man, tackling residential projects would be a breeze. However, starting any business comes with its own set of challenges, and the first year was difficult as I navigated how to market my company, network with the right people, and establish a customer base. Despite these hurdles, I persevered and am proud to say that, 21 years later, Cooper Sheet Metal and Gutter is one of the longest-running installation companies in the greater Atlanta area.
